My Top 10 Music Awards Looks

Hello all. I'm currently, like most, in quarantine due to the corona virus outbreak. With online school, staying inside, and constant bad news from the medical world it can seem hard to stay positive. We normally right now would be in awards season but many have been cancelled. So to try and makeup for the lack of awards shows I decided to share my all time favorite music awards looks.

10. Nick Jonas and Priyanka Chopra

Probably one of my favorite celebrity couples of all time. They both have such good style I just couldn't leave them out. This particular look is from the 2019 Billboard Music Awards. I mean her sequined dress is absolutely breathtaking and the layered necklaces pull the whole look together. And with Nick's plaid suit and matching shoes, who couldn't love them?

9. Kendall Jenner

Kendall obviously knows her way around a red carpet look. But I personally LOVE her 2014 MTV Video Music Awards one. The mesh top and black, high waisted pants are gorgeous. Especially with her gold necklace, this minimalist look is cute and simple.

8. Ariana Grande

Ariana. Freakin. Grande. She's super talented and has proved it time and again. Especially at the 2020 Grammy Awards. But before her powerful performance she stunned us all in this beautiful, flowy gown. Of course she wore the signature ponytail and added some gloves to add even more elegance. Imagine walking around with that big of a dress!

7. Post Malone

Post always seems like he's having a great time. He's just living life and I couldn't be happier with that. For the 2018 American Music Awards he brought his drink along for the red carpet. His baby blue suit with snake design and jewels is amazing on it's own. But add those boots? And the bedazzled belt? He will always be one of my favorites.

6. Kasey Musgraves

When I think of country singer, Kasey Musgraves' music I will always think of the light and whimsical sound of her hit album Golden Hour. She kept up with that aesthetic when she showed up at the 2019 Academy of Country Music Awards wearing a beautiful pastel, ombré suit.

5. Lizzo

Lizzo always has us talking about her red carpet looks. Sometimes it's a tiny purse and sometimes it's a gown dedicated to chocolate. At the 2020 BRITs she dressed in a Hershey's chocolate dress! Not everyone can pull that off. But Lizzo being the queen she is rocked it.

4. Florida Georgia Line and their wives Hayley and Brittany

These four showed up to the 2017 iHeart Radio Music Awards and owned the red carpet. The Kelleys seemed to have a more classic country look. Brian wore a loose blue button up while Brittany wore a jean jumpsuit that I'm absolutely in love with. The Hubbards went with a more sleek approach as Tyler wore a simple tee with a sequined jacket over it. Hayley wore these gorgeous wide-legged black pants and matched it with a black crop top and choker. All four looks are to die for.

3. Shawn Mendes

Shawn always seems to have an amazing suit for awards shows. All of them are fantastic but his 2020 Grammys look was my all time favorite of his. The raspberry suit with a white collared shirt under it was definitely a good decision. His necklace brought the look off to perfection. But I mean, when does Shawn wear a suit and not pull it off?

2. Kasey Musgraves (part two)

I'm sorry I had to add Kasey again. How can you blame me? Her look for the 2019 iHeart Radio Music Awards is absolutely stunning. Of course we all knew she takes risks in fashion. But this is a whole new level of style. This emerald dress with striped ruffles has definitely earned the right to be in the top two. It's futuristic vibe will make it stay in my top looks for a long time.

1. Harry Styles

This may be biased because Harry is a huge inspiration to me for fashion (and just life in general). And sure, he was compared to an IKEA couch when he wore this to the 2015 AMA's. But I would like to see someone else pull that off. This white, gray, and black patterned suit paired with a black button up was just the beginning of his iconic patterned suits.

Now there are some crazy gorgeous red carpet looks worn to music awards but these are definitely my favorite of those I've seen so far. Let me know what look is your favorite! Thanks so much for reading and try to stay healthy during these hard times.
